Jerome King, DMin, PhD, is the founder and president of Paramount Leadership, LLC and Solid Foundations, Inc. He serves as consultant, trainer and conference speaker.
As an educator, executive, and administrative practitioner, Dr. Jerome King is a much sought after speaker and consultant. He has nearly thirty years of experience in directing ministries and service oriented organizations from their inception to multiplication. His distinguished career in the military, academic and administrative leadership at a university, denominational executive roles, and his recent entrepreneurial endeavors over the past 25 years contribute to his extraordinary ability to integrate leadership theory and practice.
Previously, Dr. King served as a denominational executive with the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board and the Georgia Baptist Convention. He gave oversight to the largest Protestant denomination (SBC) in the America’s program for selecting and assessing leaders.
Dr. Jerome King has led conferences throughout North America, Canada, and Africa; coached pastors, and developed leaders. His extensive studies in leadership coupled with his vast experience, have aided in transforming companies into more effective and stronger organizations. As President and Founder of Solid Foundations Inc. and through this nonprofit corporation, Dr. King excels in helping organizations realize their visions. As Executive Vice President of Luther Rice University; Dr. Jerome King successfully lead the organization through the process of transformation. The marked improvement in strategy, structure, and processes produced higher enrollments, more quality employees, an additional state of the art facility, and the organizational synergy and culture required for ongoing success.
As Director of the Leadership Program at Luther Rice University; Dr. King's creation of the curriculum and development of leaders through the institution’s Master of Arts in Leadership program continues to yield global results. Graduates are serving as church starters, department directors at large churches, in government, as pastors, and missionaries around the world. The program continues to serve as an attractive offering for those answering the call to lead.
As Director of Church Growth & Development; Jerome E. King's coaching of new church starters and pastors, resulted in the establishment of several new churches and the growth and development of pastors in the metro Atlanta area and beyond.
As Associate Director of Recruiting for the North American Mission Board, SBC; He trained state program leaders throughout North America in how to select leaders. As a result, these state-level agencies now have their own decentralized assessors and a proven strategy for identifying the best candidates for accomplishing their goals. Each is also demonstrating greater success rates with their new entrepreneurial works.
As Church Starter Strategist for the Georgia Baptist Convention; Dr. King developed a statewide strategy for starting new churches and aided in the start of over 40 new churches in the state of Georgia.
